Looking for a Gift for that someone special can be a daunting task. Sometimes you get lucky and the first thing you see is perfect but often it takes a lot of effort and searching to find the right item. I often have trouble sifting through the countless pages on bigger sites like Amazon to find something that speaks to me. Sometimes there can be too many options. Recently though, I connected with and I think I found the ideal place for gifts for special occasions.

If the name of the site didn’t give it away, the homepage makes it really clear that the goal of the site is to help you find the right gift. The banner on the homepage is a “find my gift” wizard. (No, they don’t use sorcery.) They ask the question: What are you looking for? And then you answer the question by choosing two answers from two different lists. For example, I need a Father’s Day gift for my Father or I need a Housewarming gift for my Friend. They also have easy to navigate tabs at the top of the page if you just want to browse through a specific category. The site is loaded with luxury gifts from watches to jewelry to brand name sunglasses and handbags which all seem to be reasonably priced. If luxury items are too much for your budget they also have some inexpensive items too but you might be surprised at what you can afford.

Another great thing and something that isn’t immediately clear about My Gift Stop, until you click on a product, is that a portion of every sale goes to charity. In fact, 5% of each sale goes to the global medical relief nonprofit, Direct Relief. For those of you unfamiliar with the charity, they offer relief all over the world and rank as a top 10 charity by both Forbes and Charity Navigator. In fact, they rank #1 on Charity Navigator when “measured by financial performance, accountability, and transparency.”

If the great deals and charitable contributions weren’t enough, how would you like a shot at a $300 gift card? From now until March 27, you can enter for your chance to win and if you don’t win the grand prize you will at least be rewarded with a 10% off coupon.

Finally, I have compiled a list of five items I would gift from My Gift Stop. If you were to win the prize you probably redeem your gift card for more than one of these items below or you could just get a particularly nice watch. If you are chomping at the bit to enter the contest scroll to the bottom of the page for the entry link and the contest rules.

Five Gifts I Would Buy From My Gift Stop

Invicta Men’s Stainless Steel Watch – Pro Diver Coin Edge Bezel Black Dial | 8932OB

Valued at $395.00 you can get this Invicta watch for $51.98. Also available in other colors, this watch is both classic and timeless. It would make the perfect gift for any man in your life. It is rugged enough to be an everyday watch but also stylish enough to be saved for special occasions.

Oakley OO9097-17 G30 Iridium & Slate Iridium Lenses Fast Jacket XL Polished White Plastic Frame Men’s Sunglasses

Valued at $220.00 these are on sale now for $149.99 with coupon. These are my favorite sunglasses available in the shop. Oakley has always been a top name in the industry and these seem to be a good combination for sporty or casual situations. Sunglasses can be difficult to buy without trying on, however, so fortunately, My Gift Stop has a great return policy.

Citizen Women’s EcoDrive Watch – Super Titanium Bracelet Silver Dial | EW2410-54A

Valued at $375.00 on sale for $281.25. This watch is on the upper end of pricing that I would personally consider, but it is built to last. I would consider this as a gift to my wife as a birthday present. It might even be a good graduation present.

Gem Star Sterling Silver 1/10 Ct.Tw. Diamond Infinity Pendant

Valued at $122.50. On sale for $73.50. I always lean toward sterling silver when buying jewelry as a gift. Personally, I think the color works for everyone where gold sometimes does not. This pendant looks like a great gift for the wife. The combination of the hearts in an infinity sign with some diamonds would probably be a winner with most women.

Victorinox Swiss Army 53603 Hardwood Handle Spartan Pocket Knife

Valued at $50.00. On sale for $34.99. Every man has or at some point will own a Swiss Army knife in their lifetime. This one with the wood handle was my favorite offer on the site. The knife isn’t overwhelming with too many accessories and the natural beauty of the wood is much more appealing to me than the traditional plastic.
