November is all about being thankful and focusing on the good things that we have in live. That’s why Ipsy’s theme this month is just perfect – focusing on Ipsters and their awesomeness.
The bags this month are super cute, with a slash of metallic that makes it stand out. There were two variations of the bag – a mustard yellow and a gorgeous teal. I’m all about the yellow bag, so I was excited to get it! It’s such a perfect color for fall!
While I was psyched about the bag, I was a little less excited about the products I received this month (but only because there were so many fantastic products that I didn’t get). However, I was pleasantly surprised with my products.
Codage Paris Scrubbing Cream
I love trying new exfoliators and I’m super excited about this scrubbing cream after reading more up on it. It’s super gentle and made of super-fine rice particles. It’s also a French brand! It has a value of about $13.80 (if I’m converting correctly from euros).
Manna Kadar Cosmetics HD Perfecting Powder
This was one of the products that I was interested in trying out. I’ve never used a perfecting powder before and I love that it’s supposed to blur out imperfections. It goes on colorless, so it definitely doesn’t show up in any pictures! It’s value is about $5.22.
Crown Brush C141 Small Chisel Brush
Love, love, love getting to add new brushes to my collection! It’s one of the nice parts of the Ipsy bags (other than the makeup). The brush is super nice – it has a nice thumb grip, a sleek look, and super soft bristles. It has a retail value of $5.69.
TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Feisty
Tarte’s quickly become one of my new fave brands. Last month’s mascara was just fab and I already love the Amazonian Clay bronzer. This blush is a perfect shade for me and lasts all day! This product has a value of about $7.76.
COLOURPOP Cosmetics Ultra Satin Lip in Calypso
COLOURPOP always has fun products, so I was happy to see one in my bag. The color of this lip color is not my absolute fave in the bottle, but it looks fabulous after it’s been put on. It has brown undertones, so it has a deep color to it after it’s dried. Oh – and it stays on for forever (and takes some scrubbing to get off). Retail value of $6!
Overall, not a bad bag (a value of about $38). The products are super great for me and will prove to help me with some awesome selfies for Insta! And I’m just all heart-eyes over the bag. It’s so pretty!
