6 Mobile Apps Every Digital Marketer Should Have

As an advertiser it’s extremely valuable to be able to check on your campaigns and marketing on the go. You may be out of the office when a client gives you a call wanting to know something. Unless you have your laptop with you and a stable Internet connection you might have say that you’re out of the office and must call back later. Wouldn’t it be better if you could access that data directly through your phone using an app? Of course, it would. Here are my top 6 mobile Apps that I think every advertise should carry with them.

All apps are available on App Store (iOS/iPhone) and Google Play (Android).

1. AdWords

A bit limited in terms of what you can do in this application, it is under development and has been much improved over the year. You can for example see campaign statistics, billing, pause/start campaigns and some more. It’ll give you a great overview on your AdWords account and you can spend less time by the PC for smaller AdWords matters.

2. Analytics

It’s a bit of a relief being able to check on your Google Analytics properties through your phone as well, should there be a need for it. As apps in your phone allows you to be more mobile, gathering statistics and checking on performance through this app is a brilliant idea.

3. Facebook Ads Manager

A client might suddenly want to pause a campaign they have on Facebook or Instagram, or get a brief report on what’s going on. This app even lets you create new ads and pretty much has the same features as being on a desktop computer. You can also select your Business Manager account if you made the educated choice to store your clients there instead of on your personal account.

4. Facebook Pages Manager

To administrate and check up on your own Facebook page, but also your clients if you are helping them out on Social Media Posts, interactions overview and so forth. A comfortable app that gathers your Facebook pages in one accessible way and gives you notifications as per usual. You can also see statistics, make posts, use the messenger, and like always, more.

5. PS Express (Adobe Photoshop Express)

A wonderful app that lets you make great edits on pictures and add nice pre-made captions that can be used in social media posts, ads and more. Viable choice for those that like to do some image editing on the go. While it’s not nearly as advanced as the actual Photoshop version it carries enough to make slight adjustments to your clients’ images, should it be necessary.

6. Google Keep

Some might enjoy the default apps for taking notes however if you are well invested in Google already, why not use it to make your important notes as well? Google Keep can be added as a widget, and you can also pin extra important notes. Of course, there’s a bit of styling possibilities to be used as well, however it’s just nice having a place to store your notes/tasks and then archive those that are completed by the end of the day.
