This forthcoming Solebox x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged edition takes cues from the Berlin-based retailer city district’s ‘Coat of Arms’ insignia, designed by Hikmet Sugoer.
Utilizing various shades of grey for its primary colorway across its intricately knitted upper of smooth wool and suede, the sneaker is treated with subtle touches of green on the tongue label, alongside bright red lace tips and its outsole. Further defined by being free from a TPU cage which allows extra freedom of movement for the foot as well as a clean aesthetic, the model is supplemented atop a crisp white midsole unit.
Rounded out with SB debossing on the shoe’s heel cup to identify the partnership, you can find this special edition pair at Solebox starting this Saturday, March 12th, while a wider release at other adidas Consortium retail stores will follow at a later date.
I’m all for minimalism and clean silhouettes, so I’m just biased overall. The colorway is versatile and the build looks superb. One of the better iterations of the model so far this year.
