World of Warcraft Legion is set to release tomorrow on August 30, 2016. Like most of you I am extremely excited about this new expansion, not only because of the new Demon Hunter race, but also because of the opportunity to enjoy new content.
Over the past few months I have been preparing for the release of World of Warcraft Legion. This is how:
Back in the day when I stayed outside of the US, I played on the European servers. When I moved over to the US, I was unable to transfer my level 90 character with me. This caused a bit of an issue with the release of Warlords of Draenor as I didn’t have a character ready to jump in. When I moved over, I repurchased World of Warcraft and all it’s expansion and with that I received a free level 90 character boost. However, I am not really a fan of playing a character that I don’t feel an attachment to.
Thus, I restarted from scratch as a Restoration Druid. After putting in a good number of hours between work and sleep – my Resto Druid is now level 90. Not quite the 100 and ready for World of Warcraft Legion, but that’s not a concern since my plan is as follows:
- Use my Resto Druid to carry on and enjoy the Warlords of Draenor content which I missed. I want to be able to do this at my own pace.
- Use the new Demon Hunter class as my main for the World of Warcraft Legion expansion.
I look forward to playing the Demon Hunter class because my Resto Druid is my main PVE character and I have been meaning to engage the PVP content in World of Warcraft, and the Demon Hunter will allow me that opportunity without having to start from scratch.
Taking that into account, I have obviously leveled up a Demon Hunter to level 100 so that it’s ready to go on release day. I must admit that I found the initial Demon Hunter content, which is available prior to release, to be quite engaging and fun.
Oh and before I go – I can’t wait for the artifact weapons!!!! I want that staff for my Druid!!! The Excitement!!!
