As I travel back from London on a train delayed by all the snowfall, I put the finishing touches to these shots taken in Spring aboard the ferry from Vancouver Island - Talawassen.
The sunset on this evening put on quite a performance. From tranquil and placid swirls of blue to a slowly burning sky, the sunset started to reach a crescendo.
The clouds, the ripples and the sun all came together to create a kaleidoscope of patterns.
....and the crowds congregated whilst the colours intensified.
The sky lit in an explosion of fire and then as the sparking sun began to dim, the temperature dropped and the deck began to empty.
I took one final look before heading back into the warmth for a piping hot cup of coffee!
