YOGA AN EMERGING TREND
Yoga has been accepted worldwide and is emerging. Due to its long-term benefits that it gives to any individual. United Nations General Assembly declared International Yoga Day on 21st June 2015 after that it’s been observed each year on the same date globally. People misinterpreted yoga into a form of another common exercise. To easily clarify yoga I would mention words of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar “Yoga is not just exercise and asanas. It is the emotional integration and spiritual elevation with a touch of mystic element, which gives you a glimpse of something beyond all imagination”
Now I will tell you about some top yoga pose whose regular practice can enhance your body and health.
It’s a part of sun salutation. Brings more flexibility especially in the upper body, helps to reduce fatigue and boost your blood circulation.
Gently lie facing the ground, keep your leg close to each other and feet flat on the floor.
Taking slow and deep breath lift your upper body with the help of your hands, keep you’re naval on the floor.
Keep the equal pressure on both the hands; don’t overstretch your body. And slowly come down.
The adamantine pose is best for performing pranayama. It’s also been named because shape the body gains. This pose is extensively accepted as it really helps fully for digestion, legs, thighs and spinal cord.
Fold your legs; sit on your heels placing your hips on it. Keep your palms on your thighs.
Your spine, neck and head should be straight eyes closed. Take deep breaths but slowly.
Relax your body and repeat it.
Virkashana improves your body flexibility, improves concentration and above all keeps a balance between bodies activity with soul.
Stand straight hands-on side of your body
Slowly bend your right leg (knees) and place over left thigh try to bring balance. Once again the balanced position. Start taking a deep breath.
While taking a deep breath raise your arms in Namaste mudra. Unlike other poses eyes will be opened focusing on any object.
Concentrate on your breath with a gentle smile that will release your stress and tension in your mind. After some time slowly bring down your hands and then your right leg.
Repeat the same process for your left leg on right one.
Also known as Corpse Pose. It’s practised at the end of any yoga session. It’s basically designed to relax your body at the end after performing yoga. Savasana releases all the stress it takes your body in the state of rest and rejuvenation.
1) Lie flat on the ground keeping your face towards the sky. Close your eyes and bring your body in comfortable position. You can take a pillow for your neck.
2) keep your hands open that also facing upward, your legs and feet little apart.
3) Now start taking slow and deep breaths concentrating on your lower body parts and move towards your head.
4) After some time, when you are fully satisfied turn towards your right and with the support of your right hand sit and gently open your eyes.
