When it comes to gaming there are two sides, PC and console. Both sides fight between each other with PC fans bragging about their hardware power while console fans love to boast about their exclusivities. However, PC gamers are the ones who have an overall advantage and the future is looking bright for them.
Intel Core i9 CPU Changes PC Gaming
The reason we are saying that PC gamers have a bright future ahead of them is because usually, gamers need to choose between a powerful desktop or lose some performance and opt for a laptop. Luckily, that sacrifice is not going to be needed anymore. Intel’s latest six-Core mobile Core i9 chip holds the title of being the fastest notebook Processor ever made.
Fastest Notebook Processor Ever
Now that the Core i9 is officially unveiled, laptop fans will finally be able to run at 5GHz. Not only that, but the new processor uses “thermal velocity boost” which helps raise the processor’s base speed rate of 2.9GHz to 4.8GHz.
41% Faster Than Seventh-Gen Core Processor
Another impressive thing about Intel’s latest processor is that its been proven to be 41% faster than the seventh-gen Core processor in frame rates. Moreover, Core i9 is also 32% faster when it comes gameplay streaming and recording which makes it a high priority pick for streamers.
The only downside about the new Core i9 processor is that Intel didn’t unveil its price. Although, this shouldn’t surprise anyone since Intel has made it a tradition to unveil how powerful its upcoming hardware parts are and to keep the price a secret until the official launch date comes around.
Considering that this processor will run games at 5GHz, we think it’s safe to assume that it will be equipped with an expensive price tag. However, this was to be expected since the processor is aimed towards people who only purchase the best.
