A brand-new Sony smartphone that goes by the “H8266” codename was recently spotted on GeekBench and from the looks of it, Sony fans are in for a treat. The smartphone is equipped with premium hardware specs which makes it eligible to receive the title of being a flagship. Although, the Japanese tech giant doesn’t want to reveal any official information about the new smartphone and this means that it plans on unveiling it at next year’s MWC event.
Sony H8266 GeekBench Score
The upcoming Sony smartphone is a beast! It scored a whopping 8300 points in the multi-core test and 2393 points in the single-core test. This shows us that Sony H8266 will fit in the premium range of smartphones and that it will be more than capable of handling any sort of tasks.
The reason why Sony H8266 is dominating the GeekBench processor tests is because its fueled by one of Qualcomm’s highly impressive Snapdragon 845 CPUs. This is the most powerful mobile processor in the world right now and it clocks 2.45GHz.
In addition, the processor is coupled with an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM. After seeing the high-end hardware specs that Sony H8266 will sport, we think its safe to assume that this smartphone will indeed become Sony’s flagship device for 2018.

Samsung took the smartphone industry by storm when it equipped its latest Galaxy S8 and Note 8 with a bezel less display. The smooth design makes the smartphone highly desirable and rumor has it that Sony wants to follow in Samsung’s footsteps. Therefore, the upcoming H8266 will surely sport a bezel less panel.
