HTC will roll the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system for its flagship smartphone: HTC U11. It seems that the first users to have received the Oreo OS are the Taiwanese HTC U11 owners.
Taiwanese HTC U11 owners take their joy to SNS
HTCs decision to release the newest Android Oreo OS for its latest smartphone has had Taiwanese owners over the moon with joy.
They have shared on their SNS accounts screenshots of the update notification: the screenshots confirm the update with Oreo, software patch 2.31.709.1. The newest Android update for HTC U11 has 1GB of size and it does not bring drastic changes.
HTC U11 smartphone: features and specs
HTC U11was released in June 2017 and HTC U11+ in November 2017. HTC U11 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It has Octa-core Kryo CPU and Andreno 540 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB. Those who want more memory storage can use a microSD card up to 256 GB.
Some of its most attractive features are its Edge Sense Touch Screen and the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (2560 x x1440 resolution). Some users are disappointed because the smartphone does not come with a headphone jack.
As connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NLC and USB.
