It’s been confirmed that star forward Daniel Sturridge will be heading to West Bromwich Albion for the remainder of the season with Liverpool signing a loan deal with the Baggies. While Sturridge is still technically a Liverpool FC player, it’s been widely tipped that the England International may have made his last appearance for the club and may go elsewhere in the summer.
Signed by the Reds in 2013 from Chelsea FC, Sturridge proved to be a fan favourite from the very beginning. His signature dance move after scoring goals was widely adopted by Red fans. With 48 goals from 98 appearances for the Reds, Sturridge was widely considered to be one of the most deadly strikers in England. However, regular injuries and better players in the lineup meant that the player had been getting a lot less chances in the first team in the last two seasons.
Once a Red, always a Red. YNWA Daniel!
