Predators' historic run generated $50 million for Nashville

The economic impact from the Nashville Predators' historic playoff run generated more than $50 million for Music City, officials announced Thursday. "It was a great year," Predators' President and CEO Sean Henry said at an end-of-season press conference at Bridgestone Arena held in conjunction with Mayor Megan Barry's office and the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation. The event recapped the Predators run during the 2016-17 season, detailing the economic and business impact from the playoff series and the financial impact the Nashville Predators Foundation has made in the postseason. "What a run and what a ride," Barry said before congratulating the Predators for the team's historic run.
