My Grandmother recently passed way.She was 92.
My grandma Ramona was known for having a very strong spirit and she had a destined memory. She knew exactly what was going on and when. She had ears behind her ears.

Yesterday was the most important day and I can say it was by far the best day my Family got together and reminisce about grandma.

What I did learn is that we shouldn’t take life for granted. Be there in the moment, stop trying to find your next step while hanging out with your family.

This gave me a more of a retrospect to look through a magnifying glass at my values. That FAMILIA comes first. And We get side track from that because we’re very busy with our own lives, we forget the small people that made everything else happen for us.

Yesterday I will cherish and remember that day forever because my grandmother passed away and the immediate family was there and my close friends from Church were there and of course, now they have the stories. It made me cry, I grew up with these people, and they nurtured me.

Its amazing how far we’ve gone since the old little chubby house in Juarez. And now look at us, our future expanding right before our eyes to new businesses, education, careers, and families.

Familia Morales’ have #molcajetegrind ingrained into our blood. We’re hustlers, we know how to work hard, and value it.

At the end of the day it was a day not to just remember my Grandma, but to consider what family is all about and I hope my family and I become closer as we move forward into our future.
