It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Hi guys! It’s hard to believe that it’s already December. We’ve been busy working on a couple movies, and Jeff colored several political commercials for John Bel Edwards who was running for governor of Louisiana. Because of the pace that they need these commercials done by, Jeff had several times where he would receive an email and have to immediately go to work to have them done on time. Most of these commercials had less than a 24hr turn-around.  We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We’ve been going non-stop for the last few months so we took the whole week of Thanksgiving off and just vegged out. It was awesome.

We cooked so much delicious food. Roasted turkey, green beans, stuffing(yes, it’s called stuffing, not dressing), mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, lots & lots of gravy, and the most delicious chocolate pie. Got the recipe from here, and made the crust from here. This pie is so rich & creamy, let me warn you it’s heartburn city, but oh so worth it.

And we can’t forget about the cocktails. I mixed up a pitcher of French 75s to go along with the day’s festivities. Cocktails French 75

And after Thanksgiving, we made turkey sliders with the leftovers. I love leftovers. Thankgiving Leftovers mini sliders

So, now it’s December, what are your plans for Christmas? The Beard and I are heading North to see our families. Because work has slowed down, we plan on spending quite a bit of time up there. I’m incredibly excited to see my family, esp. since my sister has a baby due around the same time.

Merry Christmas
