Even if you’ve been together hundred years
Sooner or later the couple who have been together billion years experience a sort of a fade of their “fire. You can always blame the routine, that is killing all the feelings and romance, which is partially true. However, it is up to you to break the pattern and instead of spending all evening cooking – reserve a table in one of your favorite restaurants. If you feel like your relationship needs a push to recover, and you are willing to Reconnect with your Partner, here are few ways for you:
Set up a new routine. Every family has their own routine, which is followed from one day to another. How about once in a while to change your route? Are you discussing bills and kid’s issues usually in the evening at home? Take a walk around the neighborhood. Take a bike or a dog with you to make it more relaxed and enjoyable.
Surprise. There is nothing better than a surprise without any occasion. You don’t even need to spend a penny to put a smile on your partner. Leave a note in his or her bag, give a call and say the words of love instead of: “Get some bread and diapers on the way home, please”.
Vacation. Just two of you, no kid, no friends, let it be your second honeymoon. Pretend you just had a wedding and replay everything that you did on your actual honeymoon.
Sleep naked. You know s the most powerful tool to help you reconnect with a partner? Sex. And sleeping naked is like a trigger, it is too hard to resist when no matter how you hug you touch the bare skin.
Eat at the table. Together. Don’t separate the meals, like one is eating by the laptop, while the other one by the TV. Family dinners are believed to be a key to strong and loving families.
Put your phone down. Unfortunately, phones became a number one of break ups and even divorces. Make a rule that once you are together you don’t watch the phones unless you are choosing a new couch or searching for vacation destination together.
