Homemade Eggnog Recipe

Ingredients:

6 Egg Yolks

1 cup Evaporated Milk

1/2 cup Everclear (for a family friendly version leave the alcohol out)

1 cup Powdered Sugar

1/2 tsp Vanilla

1/4 cup Water

Steps: 

1: Crack and separate the egg yolks into a bowl

2: For those of you who don’t like their eggs raw whisk the yolks and condensed milk over low head while stirring constantly. Bring the yolk and milk mixture to 140-160 degrees. As it cools keep stirring so the mixture does not turn into scrambled eggs. If you prefer the classic version skip to step 3.

3: Beat the evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla, water, and egg yolks together until smooth

4: Add the Everclear and enjoy
