Carrie Fisher And Debbie Reynolds Will Have a Public Memorial Service

The two actresses that died tragically in the end of 2016 will have an amazing public send-off.

It was tragic when we heard the news that Carrie Fischer Died in the end of 2016.

After some days battling in a coma, Fisher succumbed to the damage of a stroke during an airplane travel. She was only 60 years old and besides her ailments (that she got under medication for) she showed no signs that could leave anyone guessing something was going to happen.

Carrie Fischer died in December 23rd of 2016 and left the world in shock.

Debbie Reynolds, her mother, was “inconsolable” for her death and as the world showed appreciation for her daughter, it seems that the death of her daughter hit the 84 year old a little too hard.

It was with a very heavy heart that we knew she had passed away on December 28th – a mere 5 days after the death of her daughter.

We were told they were buried together in a private ceremony but they were two major A-list celebrities that had a wild fun about them…

So, it isn’t a stretch to imagine a public memory service – with all the fun and life commemoration Mother and Daughter truly deserve!

We just heard this public service will be on the March 25th at Forest Lawn (where their bodies were buried).

There is a 1,200 seats theater at the cemetery to hold this public ceremony which will have a tribute song from none other than James Blunt!

But apparently, he isn’t going to sing it – it will be unveiled at the ceremony along some pictures.

And it seems the wild Carrie Fischer would love to know this because we’ve heard that the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles will perform! Along with many costumes and memorabilia on display and a lot of dancing.

And a lovely little detail – Gary, Carrie’s beloved dog and companion, will be present as well!

You will be able to watch the event unfold on Carrie and Debbie’s website via a live stream.

This is the best send-off possible for two great, fun, larger-than-life ladies!
