First of all, if you're a reader I'd like to apologize for the long break from blogging. This is a post I wrote up over the summer over my go-to Bronzer that I conveniently forgot to publish.
Bronzer is really important to bring some warmth in your face as the skies get darker and your skin gets paler.I've never been a fan of bronzer, until recently when I realized that I do like a healthy glow and that applying it accentuated my features more. My favorite bronzer used to be the Benefit Hoola and while it was perfectly adequate, I wanted something that showed up on me a lot more than the Hoola Bronzer and was completely matte (NARS now have a Laguna Bronzer that has a complete matte formula).
I bought this on a whim ages ago and fell in love with it. I'm so in love with it that its the only bronzer I have in my collection and I use it without fail every single day. I hadn't heard anyone rave about this product but just stumbled across it while browsing Cult Beauty, fell in love with the quilted design of the product, was stoked about the matte formula and decided to buy it.
Formula: Matte and does not drop off any excess product. Very sturdy packaging and does not break apart even though I have dropped it ten times in total since purchasing it. It also blends easily so its good for contouring as well.
Colour and Pigmentation: Buildable and gives you a tanned look. I'm a NC 40-42 shade, and it gives me a healthy bronzy glow, which is hard to get if you accidentally tan yourself (I'm sure other brown women can understand this). It doesn't feel heavy, but is instead very light and gives you a very natural tan glow. It isn't heavily pigmented, but it is easily buildable to give you a very natural warmth to your face.
Cons : Lower pigmentation, but easily buildable.
Rating : 9/10
