Located in remote areas of Alberta, under a huge sky amid fir trees and white poplar, with the city almost to view Astral Harvest is away from the crowds. This is the charm of some 2000 fans who journey here: unplugged curtain far behind to feel good hybrid EDM festival and workshops rave trippy.
The arrival of the fans in the flow, long, peace sign T-shirts and skirts. Some dressed as aliens, while others wear faux fur hats hunter and fashion superhero. And it carries a lot of glowing hula hoops that light up the night (although it should be noted that "Night" occurs only for a few hours when you're so far north). Performance art is the face of another great faces of the program. Fire spinners rotating fire, belly dance shaking their hips, and ninjas get tough hoop ring in the middle stages of the creators of music. All of this is part of the mission to celebrate the Star "music, art and knowledge society and human experience." This festival is quieter than most of this kind. No alcohol is sold at the site.
Yoga and other activities during the day
Even DJ wonderful art of work ... There's plenty of time for your night. But what to do during the day? Well, if you want ever to hang upside down hanging from a silk scarf, Astral Harvest provides the opportunity. Air arts lessons is a great task. So are the following activities on that day jam-pack of the festival program:
Tantric yoga: laughter and lessons, ... Kundalini yoga style name, and Star is unlikely to be contorting her category.
Workshops Movement: stellar instructors teach-ites how to manipulate and hip-hop dancing, hula-hop and more.
Art workshops: Learn to carve wood, draw Mandalat, designer clothing, a magazine, or drawing abstract images.
Conferences 'Harvard': to attend a conference on the generation of the spirit, or explore shamanic death. Esoteric, too? In one attempt on how to make money doing what you love, or how to convert plastic into fuel.
Festival goers take these activities seriously as EDM shows, so you'll have plenty of company while in class. What is more, this is the crowd that Canadian participation was educated, so you will not feel uncomfortable if your cobra pose or painting lacks the intuitive skill.
And the creation of parks
Relatively compact reasons, making it easy to walk from the parking and camping, where procedures. Dominate the four stages of the scene: Interstellevator (Headquarters, where they play international DJ popular Canadian), Wakah Chan (second-largest stage, where acts made edgiest and rock the party in the early hours), Angelica basket (A, internal small cold space) and the development of the market (surrounded food vendors and crafts). The market for the latter is the social center of the Star. While offered include crafts yak wool shawls, crystal balls, Assistant digitally printed layers and leggings meals for sale a range of burgers pad Thai, falafel, poutine and buckwheat pancakes.
Camps and put a little bit of that. They come with free water and wood for fires, as well as hot showers coin operated. Unfortunately, Star offers limited cell service reasons, so their mandala in the new Instagram rad hula will have to wait until later.
