The Top 4 Ultimate Best Things to Do in Spain

The list of things to do in Spain is endless, isn’t it?

For a first time visitor, you will be overwhelmed.

However, I’ll help you sort them out.

Here’s a list of the 4 most fun and must-do things in Spain.

1 - Attend the Clasico Match

The Clasico Match is to soccer what wrestlemania‘s main event is to wrestling. Two of the best soccer teams face each other for a straight electrifying ninety minutes. The match is held at least twice each year, once in Camp Nou Stadium, home of FC Barcelona, and the second time in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of the royal club Real Madrid FC.

Both stadium can seat more than eighty thousand people at a time. You can only imagine the intensity in the sea of fans cheering for their teams throughout the game nonstop.

Tickets are available to purchase, but just like wrestlemania, they are expensive. However, considering the level at which they play, the intensity of the fans, the ticket are pretty cheap.

2 - Go Snow Skiing

If you are visiting Spain during the winter season, you may find a lot of snow to play around with. Also, knowing that Spain has a lot of mountains surrounding its cities and towns, there are a lot of fun activities to do and enjoy.

If you haven’t skied at all in your life, or even if you have mastered it, you will definitely get an adrenaline rush from the slide from the top of a Spanish mountain. Therefore, you should consider going to one of Spain snow activity resorts. They teach all ages, and they are all sizes.

In addition to all of that, it is a great opportunity to stand on top a mountain and look down on Spain from an amazing point of view. Needless to mention that with snow all over the country, the sights are just a little bit more breathtaking.

3 - Run with the Bulls

You cannot think of Spain and its culture without mentioning their love for bull related activities. One of these is their traditional Running of the Bulls. It is a long standing Spanish heritage to create a path for bulls to run after people who are adventurous enough to stand in their way.

Pamplona Bull Run is the most famous in all of Spain. It actually has been televised live for over thirty years in a row on the national Spanish TV channel. It takes place during every morning, starting from the second day, of the San Fermin Festival, which is from the 6-14th July every year.

Not everyone, however, is allowed on the run. Participants must be eighteen of age, run in the same direction as the bulls without inciting them, cannot be under the influence of any substance such as alcohol. These rules are there to ensure the maximum safety for everyone involved.

4 - Dance & Sing the Flamenco

You cannot visit the birthplace of one the world’s best dances and singing without trying it (and probably be horrible at it.) Flamenco is part of the rich Spanish heritage and culture. It originated in Andalusia in 1774. And now, it is one of the world’s most taught art forms to non-Hispanics countries.
