I have just finished Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, I did like it even if it was quite short. Although to be honest it was intended to be an Uncharted 4 DLC before Naughty Dog decided it would be best to release it as full game, so it was expected to be shorter than previous titles.
I did like all the Uncharted series. I was a late comer to those games though and only got around to Playing them all within the last couple of years, those were the remastered versions on the PS4, thats due to not owning a PS3, I was on the Xbox 360 side during the last gen console years.
So as we are on the subject of Naughty Dog I have been considering playing The Last of Us again before The Last of Us 2 is released but I have never really managed to play a game more than once.
I did try GTA 5 again after buying the remastered version for the PS4, I completed the original on xbox 360 and it was a brilliant game but trying to play through it again on the PS4 become a bit of a chore for me and I gave up after just a few hours.
I feel that you just don’t get the same buzz and excitement like you do when you play a great game for the first time.
For that first time playing your on a journey, experiencing new worlds and meeting new characters, the game draws you in and sometimes you get attached to those characters and when you finally get the end and finish the game you feel a sense of accomplishment and sometimes even sadness that you will never get that experience again.
That’s how I felt when finishing The Last of Us, I will say it was one of the best games I have ever played and I am very tempted to try and play through it again just to see if it was as good as I thought it was, but I don’t think it will be the same second time around.
So I was wondering have you played any games more than once which you enjoyed just the same the second time around, or maybe a third, fourth and more times, and if so what games were they?
Also would I be disappointed if I did try to play The Last of Us again?
