Android smartphone and tablet owners can try starting with the 22nd of November a new game developed and published by Nintendo. The game is a community simulation game, meaning that there will be multiple interactions between characters. The Australian beta version has been available for a month and there were no malicious content.
Make friends with the animals
The game’s description uses the phrase “free-to-start” mobile game and players have to make friends with all sorts of animals, help them perform tasks. Those who want to interact with their friends can spend time at the campsite and build a relationship with them.
The player also needs to use the animals to craft furniture and decorate the campsite. It is not a difficult game, the main idea is for the player to relax and enjoy the same essence as the console game.
Nintendo is focusing on mobile games
The famous Japanese video game company has been around for many years and that is due to its top-notch games and its ability to always keep up with the market’s requirements. It appears that Nintendo is trying to keep up with the higher demand for mobile games. After the demise of Satoru Iwate, former president and CEO, the company has taken towards a new direction: more open to the tech world, instead of focusing just on the Nintendo console.
Tatsumi Kimishima, the new CEO since 2015, has managed to successfully maintain Nintendo on top of the mobile games market with the likes of Pokémon Go, Super Mario Run and fire Emblem Heroes. The company has even released a social app: Miitomo.
Animal Pocket camp has a nice design and it certainly has that Japanese je ne sais quoi which makes people become obsessed. The animals and the objects are as a Japanese would say, kawaii.
