Cameron Patterson started his days in Dublin, Ohio. He moved to Hurricane, Wv in the middle of seventh grade. Since then, Cam hasn't had a problem fitting in, especially when it comes to football. He is one of the hardest workers on his team and will do anything for his teammates. Let's get to know Cam a bit better.
Q: Coming from Dublin, were you scared when you moved to Wv?
A: Not really I was just anxious to find new and welcoming people in West Virginia.
Q: What was different about middle school and high school?
A: Middle was way easier academic wise. In high school I focus a lot more on my academics.
Q: You've had so many different coaches throughout your football career. Who has been your favorite one?
A: Coach Pratt because he reminds me of how my dad coaches.
Q: What would be your dream scenario for life after football?
A: My dream situation would have to be being a civil engineer in the army, have a hot wife, a wealthy family, and two kids.
Q: Why do you sport the number 44?
A: My birthday is on October 4th so that's where it came from.
Q: You guys got the win last Friday in Winfield but you didn't win by a lot. What is one thing you learned from that game?
A: That our team really needs to step it up as a whole and play to our true identity.
Q: How confident are you about the game tonight?
A: Very confident. I hope to see everyone out to support. It's going to be a great game but we are going to pull it off.
Q: 8 of the 9 sports writers picked Parkersburg to win. How does that make you feel?
A: Honestly it just is going to give us motivation.
Q: Last question. If you had a chance to stay in Dublin, would you have? Or would you want to stay in Hurricane?
A: I wouldn't want to change anything so stayed in Hurricane.
