I’m on a sweet potato kick this week and it’s been amazing! From caramelized, roasted sweet potatoes to sweet potato fries to sweet Potato Pie smoothies – I have been inspired! I’ve been playing around looking for a new fall smoothie recipe and the sweet Potato Pie Smoothie hits the spot! I had some left over roasted sweet potatoes hanging around in the fridge and got the bright idea to toss them into my blender with a few of my favorite smoothie ingredients. Aha, my Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie was born.
PS. I wish I had a picture for you. I served it up in one of my favorite fall mugs, it was adorable. Unfortunately, my taste buds were so happy it was gone before snapping a photo even crossed my mind.

Smoothie Recipe Ingredients
– 8-10 ounces of almond milk
– ½ cup sweet potato (cooked and mashed with cinnamon, honey, and a dash of chili powder to taste)
– 1 stalk celery
– ½ frozen banana
– ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
– 2 tsp flax seed
– 1 scoop protein powder
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– ½ tsp vanilla extract
Smoothie Recipe Directions
Combine all ingredients in blender; blend until smooth
