St. Andrew is the Patron Saint of Scotland and we celebrated his saint’s last week on November 30th. The national flag is even depicted in a manner to resemble the cross upon which he met his fate. Whilst yet to gain the same attention as Ireland’s patron saint in terms of celebration, ask any Scot and I am sure they will say they raise a glass of uisge beatha, better known as whisky in his honor.
