My husband and I have seen the trailer for this particular Movie numerous times. Before last night, we hadn’t had a chance to watch it. We’ve had it in our Netflix queue for a while but just haven’t pushed it up yet.
So, when hubby saw it at our local library, he immediately snatched it up so we could watch it.
I was super excited about seeing the movie the moment I saw the trailer. It looked to be interesting, but you can never know until you watch the movie.
From the beginning, I was hooked. There were times the movie had to be paused so I could handle other things going on in the house, but I HATED to do this.
And despite the slightly fakeish look of King Kong at times, the movie was very well made. I think John C. Reilly was a great casting addition. He brought some much needed humor to the flick.
In a way, the movie made me think about the old Godzilla movies.
This turned out to be a great movie with tons of action. I don’t think there was a dull moment throughout the whole thing.
Have you watch Kong: Skull Island yet? What do you think about the movie? Do you have a particular scene that is your favorite?
