OK, so this was supposed to be the boring 8 hour travel day to get from Whistler, BC to Valemount, BC. It was definitely the least exciting day and I did manage to get a bit of Trainspotting in en route! You'll see that each of the selected photographs has a common theme, some more subtle than others. Turns out I was quite content listening to my Spotify playlist and the brilliant S-TOWN podcast whilst scoffing various road trippy snacks.

The route took us through avalanche-ridden passes to Lillooet (above)....

To the dry desert like plains around Kamloops. It was amazing how quickly the snow dissipated and the climate changed within about 1 hour.
