Verge which is also known as XVG has been around for a couple of years but now, it’s making headlines every other day. Experts are regarding Verge as the world’s next Bitcoin and this is grabbing everyone’s interest. Moreover, Verge is quite special in comparison with other cryptocurrencies because it uses a special Wraith Protocol.
The reason why Verge decided to go with the Wraith Protocol is because it guarantees that users are always safe and that their information is kept under lock. In addition, the Wraith Protocol obfuscates journal and IP addresses which makes it impossible for governments or other entities to track currency exchanges.
Is Verge Untraceable?
Even though the team behind Verge is always talking about how their Wraith Protocol makes transactions untraceable, it seems like this is not true. Verge has been getting more and more traction during these past couple of months and experts managed to find out that the latest code of Verge on Github and its protocol doesn’t hide the ledger.
Reddit Users Finds Flaw in Code
The flaw in Wraith Protocol’s code was found by a Reddit user who said the following: “The wraith protocol, as per the code on Github, is basically making use of stealth addresses. Tor functionalities are there too, but they need to be run as a separate process. Too many components seem to be hard-coded and it appears as if the protocol was rushed”.
Verge Makes False Claims
Considering that people are investing real money in Verge, the fact that the famous Wraith Protocol is a lie is going to make the currency lose most of its value during the upcoming future. Stock investors are going to pull out now while the price is high, and Verge’s total value will plummet.
