Do you have a blog, and are striving for search engine traffic?

If you do, here’s the “bigger” question:

Do you capture the contact info of your most interested visitors, using an email marketing opt-in method, so you can later notify them of new and special offers?

(Sorry for the bad pun, but I’ve got an important point to make. 😉

Email marketing can totally help you maximize your potential earnings on your most convertible traffic.

Free search engine traffic is great, and affiliate ads on your website sometimes result in sales, but if you don’t capture your most interested visitors, here is what is happening, a lot of the time.

Visitors tend to land on your page ready to buy, look around, get distracted, leave, and never return.

Bad news, you’ve just wasted your traffic, and lost out on a possible repeat customer, forever.

Maximize Earnings With Email Marketing

Email marketing is not spamming, when you do it right.

There is an agreeable, legal way of email marketing. There is also an intrusive and unwelcome way of email marketing.

Don’t be a Spammer.

Spamming is the use of messaging systems to send an unsolicited message (spam), especially advertising, as well as sending messages repeatedly on the same site. (Source – Wikipedia)

In other words, simply obtaining an email list doesn’t mean you are allowed to start sending them offers they didn’t ask for.

Spamming is HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Many countries have passed International anti-spam laws like CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation) and the CAN-SPAM act of 2003 (U.S.A.) that can be used to convict and fine violators crazy-huge amounts of money or even jail time.

Don’t EVER send to a list of email addresses who didn’t opt-in to hear from you.

In fact, it’s best practice to remind them that they will be able to unsubscribe anytime they want, right when you are asking for their email address. People get protective of giving their email address out… because spam makes people feel violated, they would rather trust whom they see in their inbox.

So ask their permission, and only email them respectfully.

Sending to an email list is okay, when you do it right.

If you do it right, when any subscriber accuses you of spam, you can CYA (cover your butt) and have tangible proof to show officials that you have not been spamming.

Only certain Email Marketing Software actually make this proof possible.

It’s illegal to buy or sell email lists.

Email recipients must be presented with an easy way to UNSUBSCRIBE if they no longer want to hear from you.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the date they opted-in to hear from you, and what they knowingly subscribed into, and that they have been provided an easy way to unsubscribe.

You need to stick to topic. It’s okay to build sub-lists on alternate topics, by asking subscribers if they are interested in hearing about an alternate offer, but just don’t start sending your list emails they didn’t ask for.

When you stick to the rules, both you and subscribers benefit, it’s a win-win deal!

If your website visitor agrees to be notified of special discounts and/or updates to your blog that are relevant to their interests, you are providing your (potential) customers a free service that meets their needs as a consumer.

Notifying these past blog visitors about new offers also reminds them you exist, encourages repeat sales, capitalizes on past marketing opportunities, and multiplies your potential earnings.

When you have amassed a large list of visitors who ASKED to hear from you, that your blog obtained through keyword-targeted search engine traffic, you then possess a major business asset that can result in mass surges of new sales, sourced from old traffic!

If you want to make money, wouldn’t you want to get the most out of your visitors, in an ethical, socially responsible way, and in a way that protects you from false spam allegations?

It’s just the best way to do online business.

Here’s the downside:

Email Marketing Software can be very expensive.

As your list gets bigger, a good deal of email marketing software providers charge exorbitant amounts to maintain their services. We are talking up to $450.00 USD per month for 100,000 subscribers, or even more! Even for small lists they often charge upwards of $45 per month.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be milked by unethical over-chargers.

Count yourself lucky; because I found the solution, and want to share it with you.

While doing an online search for a “Free WordPress Landing Page Software” I happened across Sunny Landing Pages.

After subscribing, I discovered that they also offer a free-to-start Email Marketing Software, that does charge later when you start getting massive traffic, but out of dozens it is the most affordable I’ve ever seen!

Upgraded pricing ranges from $9 a month for 2,500 visitors per month, to $46 a month for 100,000 visitors per month to your landing pages.

In other words, with Sunny Landing Pages you can Set up your Business Automation for Free! They will not charge you until you start getting serious traffic to your unlimited, free-to-build landing pages.

Here’s a tip if you use Sunny Landing Pages. If you are driving traffic through social media, promote blog posts with a link to your landing pages, instead of just promoting your landing pages. That way your landing pages will get fewer views, but the views they get will be more responsive, keeping your costs down and improving your ROI (return on investment).

Also, please share this page on social media. I don’t earn much with this affiliate program as it is free and/or low cost, I mainly want to help starving marketers to use this  great service!
