Very delicious snack, which is very yummy and tasty, easy to prepare. Can be with other variations like adding samosa will give you samosa chaat, adding aloo tikki to it will give u Ragda patice and soo on. This recipe can be made with chick Peas or white peas. This recipe is of my mom she makes it and i love it alot and can have anytime of the day.
- Chick peas / white peas - 2cups
- Curry leaves
- Corriander leaves
- Gram flour / besan - 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Onion - 1 small sized
- Tomato - small sized
- Green Chillies - 2
- Chaat Masala
- Cumin / zeera seeds - whole
- Red Chilli pwd - 1 tsp (not heaped)
- Potatoes - 2 to 3 medium sized
First of all take a cooker add the peas, potatoes, oil, turmeric pwd, onion, tomato and water. Let it pressure cook until three whilst, then put of the flame and keep in the cooker sometime in the steam. Now take another utensil / wok, in that now add little oil, cumin seeds, curry leaves, gram flour, water (which is left in the cooker), salt and let it cook for sometime. After it comes to boil add potatoes (cut into small cubes) and remaining things like red chilli powder,green chillies, chaat masala, tamarind water and corrianders leaves for garnishing. Serve it hot.
