BOLLYWOOD CONGRATULATES PM MODI
With the final phase of counting of the Lok Sabha Election votes nearing an end and the final results yet to be declared, the trends have clearly shown that Bharatiya Janata Party has won with majority. Though the exit polls had already predicted for a BJP win, the margin with which they won is way larger than that was predicted. As Narendra Modi readies himself take the throne of the Prime Minister for a second time in a row, Bollywood doesn't shy away to congratulate the PM.
BJP MP and veteran actress Hema Malini who contested the elections and was leading the vote count, Tweeted,
What a clean sweep!The opposition & the Congress silenced totally! Modiji, after having suffered so many insults,many personal, stands totally vindicated as a true nationalist in whom the masses have reposed complete faith & view as a leader who can make India excel in all spheres."
Her step son,actor Sunny Deol, who stepped into politics this year, contesting from Gurdaspur constituency as a BJP candidate was also leading the vote count. His father yesteryear actor and superstar Dharmendra couldn't help but praise him. Dharmendra tweetes, “"Faqeer Badshah Modi JI , Dharti puttra sunny Deol, Congratulations. Achhe Din Yaqeenan Ayen Ge." Dharmendra also congratulated wife Hema on Twitter.
Actor Anupam Kher, whose wife Kirron Kher contested the elections as a BJP candidate from Chandigarh, also extended his best wishes to the Prime Minister. He tweeted a video of his mother and where the old lady is heard saying “bola tha”, ie., she had told that it would be a BJP win again.
South superstar Rajinikanth who was photographed with the PM earlier also tweeted."Respected dear Narendra Modi Ji hearty congratulations. You made it!!! God bless”, read his tweet.
Ajay Devgn extended his wishes by tweeting, "The country knows what is right for them and they have made their choice."
Veteran singer Asha Bhonsle also took to Twitter to wish the PM, as did Bollywood GenY star Varun Dhawan. Director Madhur Bhandarkar was not far behind. He, too, followed their suit. Madhur tweeted a picture of him with the Prime Minister and captioned it, "Heartiest Congratulations to PM @narendramodi ji, @AmitShah ji and all the @BJP4India Karyakartas for the monumental and historic mandate. Keep continuing ur commitment for development, welfare and territorial integrity of India."
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, whose father Vilasrao Deshmukh was a former Chief Minister of Maharashtra also tweeted. He said, "India has decided- Democracy needs to be celebrated. Many Congratulations to our Hon Prime Minister @narendramodi ji on this huge verdict,"in his tweet.
Bollywood's ‘Bhai’, Salman Khan,too, extended his good wishes to the PM. Salman wrote, “Many congratulations Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi on your decisive victory. We stand by you in building a stronger India.”
Anil Kapoor wrote, “The nation has spoken. Congratulations PM @narendramodi ji on the historic win. We citizens look forward to the new heights your leadership promises to take us. @PMOIndia #ElectionResults2019” We also tweeted a picture of him with the PM.
Vivek Oberoi, who portrayed the Prime Minister in the controversial movie entitled PM Narendra Modi which was banned by the Election Commission due to the ongoing elections, also congratulated the leader. His tweet read, “Congratulations to #NayaBharat for giving a historic win to @narendramodi ji today. Today demlcracy has won and a progressive & united India has won. We are so proud to have #bharat's asli hero as our PM again. We are all with you in your mission to make #EkBharat #ShrestBharat.”
Paresh Rawal tweeted, “ This result will compel many political parties to change their opportunistic ideology and respect the sentiments of majority and 5000 years old Indian culture. @narendramodi.”

Arjun Kapoor who will be next seen in India's Most Wanted, tweeted, “We have voted. India has chosen and the result is almost crystal clear @narendramodi ji congratulations sir we hope the country heads upwards and onwards under your leadership.
Khiladi Akshay Kumar also tweeted.
