Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 15^th season of popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati popularly known as KBC. With every episode, the show appears to be fun and entertaining. The megastar makes sure to playfully interact with contestants and actors who appear on the show. He also never shies away from experimenting, be it looks or projects. Recently, he celebrated the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on the sets of KBC 15 by donning a traditional veshti. In his blog, he explained the reason behind it.

The actor shared a glimpse of him wearing traditional South Indian attire veshti. He captioned the post, “‘Veshti’ on .. KBC on !! Traditional never falters”.

He later took to his blog and penned his excitement and idea behind it. The actor wrote, “It is the season of festivity .. of Navratri .. of celebration .. of bringing together the variety of our ‘sanskaar’ संस्कार of our age old traditions and beliefs .. and in keeping with the diversity but in its unity .. we design the KBC with the different traditional wear from each part of the country ..and for me the ‘veshti’ the traditional wear of Kerala .. a moment of pride and joy ..may there be peace and love and all the goodness to prevail on this celebratory day of the ganapati sthapana ..May HE keep us under his care , keep us protected ever .. and bless us all.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming movies

On the work front, the actor has interesting projects in his pipeline. He will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s directorial Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. Apart from this, the actor will be seen in Ganapath: Part 1 and The Intern Hindi remake, and Section 84 in his pipeline.
