Radko Gudas has been suspended 10 games for slashing Winnipeg’s Mathieu Perreault last Thursday.
Gudas is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, will forfeit $408,536.60. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
10 games is an appropriate sentence for this type of reckless play.
Gudas is a very important player on a talented, but inexperienced defense for Philly.
