Kylian Mbappe’s World Cup boycott?
On Sunday reports came out of the French World Cup squad that Kylian Mbappe has boycotted the media this summer.
That story came off the back of fresh transfer reports linking Mbappe with an exit from PSG.
Telefoot initially claimed that the paper reports upset Mbappe, with the teenager responding by refusing to talk to the press in Russia.
Later in the day that narrative was updated. While Mabppe is still not expected to talk to the press, the reasoning for his silence has changed.
Breaking | Kylian Mbappé has decided to boycott all media until the end of the World Cup in response to criticism that he is receiving, according to Téléfoot.

Kylian Mbappé has denied boycotting the media to France colleagues internally; rather, he has decided that the squad's most experienced men should lead media activities, according to @BilelGhazi.

Man United vs Man City
As Mbappe closes his mouth, the rumours in the papers have stepped up a notch.
It’s now being reported that Manchester United and Man City are fighting to sign the 19-year-old.
Mbappe, of course, only moved from Monaco to PSG 12 months ago. However the rumours are that PSG are under pressure to sell Mbappe due to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.
In England the likes of the Mirror are now pitching United against City:
PSG are being investigated over financial fair play face being booted out of the Champions League as well as being hit with huge fines if found guilty.
City have already made it known that manager Pep Guardiola would like to add the striker, who became France’s youngest ever World Cup finals scorer against Peru last week, to his Premier League winning squad.
United would be prepared to sacrifice unsettled winger Anthony Martial in part exchange, a player they value at around £80m.
The Man United versus Man City story has also appeared in Tuttosport on Monday.
