We hope you’ve been enjoying taking all sorts of cool snaps in the cap-tivating, globetrotting Super Mario Odyssey for Nintendo Switch! From today, we’ll be hosting a new contest called the Odyssey Journal, where your in-game shots could be featured on our website and social media pages. We’re looking for the best themed snapshots across Europe, so start getting creative!

The theme for this round is a scorcher – it’s ‘Feeling fine in the summertime’! So, break out those sunglasses, that summer hat or even some swimwear and get snapping!

Closing date: Tuesday 26th June, 23:59 (UK time)

Winners announced: Monday 9th July

How to enter

• Take note of the theme and submission end time on this page
• Get snapping in Super Mario Odyssey’s Snapshot Mode
• Upload your best shots to Twitter or Instagram before the end time, including the #OdysseyJournal and #SuperMarioOdyssey hashtags.

How to use Snapshot Mode

• Press the Down Button on the left Joy-Con to activate Snapshot Mode
• Experiment with different angles, filters and more
• Line up the perfect shot, then press the Capture Button on the left Joy-Con
• With your snap saved, you can share it by heading to the Album on the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu. Simply find your snap, hit “Post”, select Twitter and follow the instructions
• If you’d like to post on Instagram, you’ll need to use a smartphone or tablet device

After the closing date, we’ll select our three favourites and feature them on the official Nintendo website, and our Facebook and Twitter pages!
