Can Rabbits Eat Jicama?

Jicama is a root vegetable that is grown in many countries such as Mexico and the Philippines

Its exterior is papery and yellow whilst inside it is creamy white with a crisp texture that resembles a raw potato or pear.

It has a sweet and starchy flavor and it is usually eaten raw, sometimes with salt, lemon or lime juice, and chili powder.

It is also cooked in soups and stir-fried dishes.

As you can see, jicama contains a hint of salt and calcium, a little phosphorus, sugar and quite a lot of acidic content.

Unfortunately, it is not good for rabbits to eat and will hurt them if eaten. It should be avoided as a food for them.
