I finally found the answer to the question if Wholewheat pasta contains eggs. I already knew regular white pasta included eggs, but the list of ingredients on the box just says wholewheat. 

The only difference between regular pasta, and wholewheat is the flour – if wholewheat it still has the shell. So yes, wholewheat pasta does contain eggs, and sometimes milk.
