Polo G recently sat down with XXL for the latest edition of their “Who Am I?” video series.

Around the 0:47 mark of the clip, which you can check out below, Polo was asked which music artists he listened to while growing up to which he answered Lil Wayne.

The Chicago rapper then revealed Wayne was one of his musical influences: “Growing up I listened to Lil Wayne, that was one of my main influences, music-wise, because of his wordplay and metaphors!”
