This is one of those unique events on the Car Week calendar, a place where you can see the latest Mclaren Senna, sample the fine food and wine from a top chef of the area, buy a private jet, then dance the rest of the night away. The gala did not disappoint again, a beautiful array of cars that included an early peak of John Campion’s Martini Lancia collection, a selection of RUFs and Lamborghinis, the Hennessey Fast Car and more all distributed between the gaps the aircraft display’s left.

The Quail Rally gives the car display a booster shot for the few hours they park up at the event. This year the rally featured an original 289 Cobra, the Mclaren Senna, A RUF CTR3, a stunning Aston Martin Vantage as well as a selection of fine Ferraris and other gems. All in all, the event is a highlight of the week’s festivities, a kind of initiation of the shows to come.
