Monthly Assessment September 2016

I can’t believe that I almost forgot to post my Monthly Assessment this month! I can’t apologies enough, I’ve just been so wrapped up in planning and working, the fact that we are now into October completely passed me by!
So, I’m sorry folks, please forgive me, here is my Assessment for September…

Marketing Done

I’ve done less email marketing this month, and have been working more on my Social Media strategy. I’ve said before that my social media output has been so poor, I have found it difficult to find the time to sit down and plan what I want to say, and I was guilty of sporadically posting for the sake of posting, which really wasn’t working. So, I’ve been using Buffer in order to plan and write my tweets for the past few weeks, which has been brilliant. If you haven’t tried it, you can register for free at www.buffer.com , it’s so easy to use, and it’s honestly made a huge difference to my output and my followers.

I did however do a little emailing, but most of that was catching up with past clients. I’ve been feeling the need to diversify a little, so have a few marketing experiments in the planning. More on that soon.

Projects Completed

It was another quiet month, with a few agencies promising work, but nothing materialising just yet.

Goals for this month

Now that I have finally got my domain up and running, I’m working hard on getting my site up to scratch and social media. I will be continuing with the emails, and plan on analysing progress to determine the most effective marketing tools for me, so that I can re-evaluate where I’m spending my time.

How has your month been? Did you achieve everything you needed?
