Potty Scenes!

I never gave special thought to the transition from diaper to panty.

Say pressure or self-motivation, I have taken the onus and am walking on the no pamper lane. Today has been absolute no pamper day, yesterday it got interrupted. Thanks to elements. (eye roll)

I have asked Ms.S a million times if she wants to do her big and small jobs already, she is so pissed, the moment she realizes I am taking her towards the Bathroom she falls flat and starts whimpering like a puppy.

so I have been scared with facts that while Potty training the child may not poop for up to four days,

(i am already scared as shit, geddit, shit is getting real)

Usually, she poops in the morning, today she did not. Anyways, at 10:30 pm while she is clad in loose pants jumping like a maniac on the bed, I see her stop and make that Face *

*face: body freezes in whatever position it is in. Face goes blank, eyes go in death stare mode, duck face lips without the pout stretching ear to ear.

One eye has been on her all day, so I picked the signal, and asked her immediately if she would like to go to the bathroom to which she did not react, I picked her up and ran like thunder to the bathroom that is a mile away. She was petrified, rock solid, straight as a stick, I screamed for back-up, husband jumped and followed with the towel at lightening speed, placed her on her potty seat, I held one hand while husband held the other.

it was a true labor scene, just that this time shit had to be pushed out. Finally a few tries later, she did it, n she screamed yucky potty after she saw it. We flushed with joy.

Relieved. I stepped out of the bathroom and gave my husband a hug. We made it. Not four days, just one day.  I cleaned her up and gave her a hug and said thank you.

I am not sure how she is feeling and it does not matter.

I proceeded to my room with a victorious face, if someone captured my face, my eyebrow was raised with a slow nod all the way.

Pardon my drama, this is one of those moments when I actually put in efforts and rejoice when I reap rewards. Let’s see how long  I can handle this and when I am actually successful,

the end is distant and I do have a full pack of pampers, but…… hopefully soon.
