She can feel pretty, even if she is.

I finally Watched Amy Schumer’s latest chick flick “I  feel pretty”.

Yes. I realise i’m about a year late to this discussion. Soz. Motherhood in the thirties doesnt play. I have been waiting to see which way this post would go after the mommy groups and feminisim clubs had many a whingey femme bitch whinge to make.

Can I just please ask  the slightly chubby feminist anger choir to shut the female front door.  From the way you slammed this fluffy generic “blockbuster” I was Expecting Kendall Jenner to appear in a lycra thong and cry over her tumeric tea about injustice in the kale foraging industry. You guys, this is a big budget hollywood rom com, I’m not sure ‘the fuck you where expecting here. Everyone seemed on board with the hunger games, and dare I say it, 50 shades of bad acting, and lets not mention bad moms 1 and 2. You know, the one where EVERY SINGLE character is skinny and white, the one you watched with your besties, and everyone had to pick which mom they were, whilst sipping your mimosa’s in your active wear. Didnt hear ya’ll then. So i’m unsure on exactly what is going on here. Cries of hypocricy. There is a kettle, ladies, and she is a dark hue of black… Shaming the character of an actress trying to promote self confidence becuase she wasnt ugly enough for your liking. Guys. guys. GUYS….. I think you are missing the point. Yes,  it was not dark swan, or black swan or whatever kind of partridge Natalie Portman (skinny white girl too, fyi) was. but Christ be kind, Becky, it’s not Amy’s fault that you are fatter than her. Or that you didnt feel like whomever the 2018 equivelent of JLO is when you left the movie house. Thats on you, girl and also, on JLO 2.0.
Viva girl power. In all body types.
