Creationist Gardeners Against Worms (CGAW)

Creationist Gardeners Against Worms (CGAW)

This excerpt is from the book entitled 40 Strange Groups available here on Amazon

=============

This pressure group in the United States is against any type of crawling creature appearing in their gardens. The believe that the serpent in the Garden of Eden corrupted Adam and Eve and don’t want the same thing to happen to their children in the modern day.

However, CGAW members do respect the sanctity of all life, so slugs, Worms, and snakes are carefully repatriated into the gardens of non-believers in their neighbourhood, who don’t hold similar views.

Creationist Gardeners build fences along their property lines. These fences extend six feet down into the ground, just to make sure no worms can tunnel into their gardens from outside, sneak up on their unsuspecting children, and influence them in evil ways.

Richard Jeffires of CGAW explains it this way: “We believe in the literal truth of The Bible and in The Bible, let’s just say slippery, slidy things don’t come out of it too well. We don’t want our children to be corrupted by anything they see in the garden when they’re innocently playing. We don’t want any accidents, do we?”
