The subclass 190 Visa is a permanent Resident visa. It permits the skilled workers, nominated by an Australian state or territory government, so as to live and work in Australia indefinitely.  It requires the intending workers to complete a skill test.

190 Visa Checklists

In order to support your application in complete form, you must submit all documents as are prescribed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). You need to open an Immi Account and use the same for the application process. The original documents should be color-scanned. If the documents are not in English you should furnish an accredited English translation. Attaching the following documents will reduce the processing times of your visa application process

• Form 80 for personal particulars for assessment

• A copy of your curriculum vitae

Skills & English Language

If you had a test for English Test, provide a copy of your test results obtained from a specified English language test which you undertook in the three years immediately before you got the invitation for applying for 190 visas. This also applies to each dependent applicant, above the age of 18 years. You can submit the Evidence of Functional English until your application is decided

Point Test Requirements

You are to submit evidence for supporting your claims made for each relevant criterion, in the Points Test at the time when you were invited to apply for 190 visas.

Skilled employment

Evidence of your skilled employment or self-employment during immediately past 10 years of your invitation to apply

• References of Employment
• Pay Slips, Appointment letter, group certificates or tax returns
• Evidence of your self-employment
• Your employment history

Employment references must have been written on the official letterhead of the government or company, providing the reference. The letter head should clearly show the full address, telephone number, e-mail ID, website or fax number. You are to furnish full name and designation of the person who is authorized to sign the employment reference and his contact telephone number.

The letter should have been stamped below the signature of the authorized person. The letter should show the exact period of employment, fulltime or part-time working, permanent or temporary, duties undertaken and salary earned and a pay slip of your current employment.

Recognized Professional Year in Australia

You need to furnish evidence of a recognized professional year in Australia during the immediately past four years prior to the invitation to apply for the visa. You can get the professional years from

2. ii) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia

iii) Certified Public Accountant CPA), Australia

1. iv) Engineers Australia
2. v) Institute of Public Accountants

Educational Qualification

You need to provide evidence of any degrees, certificates, diplomas, course transcripts or completion letters.  If you have any specialist qualification like post graduate degree by searching through a course for at least 2 years in an educational institution in Australia, submit the evidence.
