Breath In. Breath Out

" Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in Eternal awareness or Pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity. " Voltaire

The act of meditation is a solemn, deep and continuous focusing of the mind on no thought. Meditation can benefit almost everyone as it was proved that serious reflection on universal subject matters leads to deep relaxation, reduced stress levels and enhanced intellectual and spiritual balance.

The main purpose of meditating is to increase the persons awareness of the present moment and to promote personal growth. We tend to concentrate too much on the future or the past and forget to live in the present and enjoy what we have right now. Through meditation you will learn to find more joy in your life and to appreciate and accept yourself and others.

Meditation is not a one time act but a process. You have to experience the feeling of being in a meditative state of mind and to let the energies of the present flow through your real self. For most people this takes a long period of practice and concentration but if you are open and ready it can happen in just a blink of an eye. Otherwise you need to practice meditation regularly and reach the real experience stage by stage. Regular meditation can help you become more focused, improves mental strength and concentration and aids you in achieving higher states of consciousness.

Although the main goal of all meditation is to obtain the highest possible level of consciousness the individual reasons for meditating can be very different. For greater understandability we have grouped these purposes the following way:

1. AWARENESS
2. HEALTH
3. WISDOM
4. HAPPINESS
