Five speakers will join USA-based Tiny Hemp Houses (THH) for the company’s next hemp building course, which runs Sept. 15-17, 2017. Hemp entrepreneurs Preston Whitfield, CBDRx & Source Hemp; Derek Cross, Formulations by Nature & The Hemp Farm USA; Colorado hemp farmer Thomas Ivory, Jr., Denver Hemp Division; and chef Tommy Mullin, Mystic Mountain Hemp Catering are scheduled to be at the workshop. Additional speakers will address the attendees by Skype, said John Patterson, THH founder.

The event is set for “The Abbey,” the company’s ground-breaking project at Berthoud, Colorado, an education and training model for hemp construction. The course is designed with architects, engineers, home builders and property owners in mind and stresses the health and sustainability benefits of hemp-based construction. The start-to-finish THH course provides instruction in everything from how to get a building permit to the history of hemp-lime building, costing and sourcing materials, and practical application of hemp in wood-frame structures.
