Huawei has finally launched the Honor 8X in India. The device will be sold as an Amazon exclusive and the 4GB/64GB variant will sell for INR 14,999. Sales will commence from October 24.

There is no mention of the Honor 8X Max to be launched alongside, so nothing can be said for sure about the bigger sibling as of now.
Let’s check out the specifications of the Honor 8X, in case you are not aware.
Starting things off with the Honor 8X, the device sports a 6.5-inch display giving out a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a notch at the top of the display. Other than the notch, the rest of the bezels are fairly minimal. The rear of the device is made of glass and looks premium. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner at the back (the circular fingerprint scanners have so far been out favorite and, thankfully, the device features one).
Coming to the cameras of the device, the device sports a dual camera setup at the back (20MP, f/1.8 + 2MP). The cameras are vertically aligned with the LED flash sitting right under the camera setup. At the front, we find a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
Under the hood, the Honor 8X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card (dedicated card slot).
A 3,750 mAh battery fuels the device which is capable of quick charging.
Moving to the price of the device, the Honor 8X is priced at:
- CNY 1,399/€180 for the 4GB/64GB variant
- CNY 1,599/€200 for the 6GB/64GB variant
- CNY 1,899/€240 the 6GB/128GB variant
