Today I am celebrating my 19th Wedding Anniversary.  Yes, it is hard to believe it is that many years.  We have been blessed we many great memories along with our 16 year old son.  Our marriage was not without struggles just like many others.  We have grown from those struggles.  I must tell you that yes some of our struggles have been about money.  We have had arguments because we are two different people.  Communication is key in a marriage.  We have realized that very much so.  So instead of me, just picking up extra hours at work, I ask first.  Those hours I am at work could be hours I could be at home with him.  We have changed as who we are since we got married those many years ago.

How do celebrate an anniversary?

Favorite home cooked meal

Going to see a movie at a theater

Going out to dinner

Going on a special vacation get away

It doesn’t matter how you spend your anniversary as long as you are together.  I always make sure I am off on my anniversary.

Do you buy an anniversary card for your sweetie? Or do you buy a gift?  A card can say so many words or even just a simple gift can say I love you.  How do you show your love to your special someone each day? Before I go to work, I always kiss my husband goodbye.
