Five people were killed and five others, including two children, were seriously injured when an SUV carrying them hit a Roadside Tree in Giridih district, Jharkhand. The accident occurred in Baghmara in the Mufassil police station area at around 3 am on Saturday. The car occupants had attended a wedding ceremony in Tikodih and were returning home when the accident happened. The driver is believed to have dozed off. The injured were admitted to a hospital for treatment.
