What are blogs?
Blogs are web logs that are updated regularly, usually on a daily basis. They contain information related to a specific topic. In some cases blogs are used as daily diaries about people's personal lives, political views, or even as social commentaries. The truth of the matter is that blogs can be shaped into whatever the author wants them to be!
How do I add my blog to your directory?
Signup via submit your blog. Once you are logged in, click on My Sites, there you can add a site by following some easy steps.
How long does approval usually take?
A Standard Listing or Premier Listing will be listed immediately.
A Free Listing is placed in the approval queue, which takes around 30 days to process. However, if there is a reciprocal link on your site, then after 10 unique clicks are sent our way, your site will be listed within 24hrs!
Please note that all sites will be looked at by editors to ensure that it adheres to our requirements. If your site is rejected, any monies paid are forfeit.
Does my blog meet the approval requirements?
If the site you submit is a blog or a blog resource (e.g. blog hosting) and the site does not contain illegal content, then it should have no problem getting approved. However, we frown upon submissions that lead to splash/welcome pages, site under construction pages, password protected blogs, spam blogs containing self-promoting links and blogs which contain very little content. The editors have the final decision on approval/rejection of a submission.
How do I know when my blog has been approved/rejected?
You will only be notified via email if your blog has been rejected, otherwise your blog will stay active in our directory!
How do I edit my listing?
After you have logged in, go to My Sites. Here you can make changes to your site listing.
How do I get into the top 100 Most Cool Blogs section?
Simply, the blogs that have the most positive votes will be listed first.
How do I get into the top 100 Most Popular Blogs section?
Blogs which are visited most by our users (outgoing traffic) will be listed first. These stats are reset every 90 days, to ensure that a blog does not stay popular by virtue of just being popular!
